Sountou BOUSSO,
WELCOME TO CAMEROON!!!
We are very proud to announce the opening of our very first shops in Cameroon, at Yaoundé-Nsimalen and Douala international airports. This milestone marks a significant moment in Lagardère Travel Retail's development in Africa, and we would like to commend the vision and commitment of our CEO Sountou Bousso, who has driven this project forward with ambition, rigour and determination. Thanks to his leadership, we have been able to combine operational excellence with respect for local cultures to offer travellers a unique experience rooted in Cameroonian identity.
We would like to extend our special thanks to all the teams in the network, particularly those in Senegal, Gabon, Gambia and Mauritania, who have inspired, supported or directly contributed to this success. Your expertise, feedback from the field, energy and commitment are a real strength for the company.
Congratulations to all of you on this new chapter that is beginning. Together, let us continue to promote Africa through our shops and our values.

SENEGAL - 4th EDITION OF THE LAS AWARDS
On Thursday, 17 April 2025, LAS (Limak-Aibd-Summa), operator of Blaise Diagne International Airport, hosted the 4th edition of the LAS AWARDS in the exceptional setting of the ALKIMIA Hotel. It was an evening of celebration bringing together all airport stakeholders around a common goal: excellence in passenger service. The evening was marked by numerous tributes and awards, recognising the efforts, innovations and remarkable performances of the airport ecosystem.
We are proud to announce that we won two major awards. The Employee of the Year award went to our colleague Moustapha BOUSSO for his professionalism, sense of service and passion. And we won the 1st Gold Award in the "Customer Experience Development" category. This is a wonderful recognition of our collective commitment to offering an ever smoother, more enjoyable and innovative experience to our customers in all our points of sale. These awards belong to you. They are a testament to the hard work, cohesion and passion that drive our teams on a daily basis. They reinforce our position as a leader, but above all, they motivate us to continue striving for excellence in every action, every interaction and every project.
Thank you to each and every one of you for your valuable contribution. Let's continue, together, to make Lagardère Travel Retail shine at Dakar Airport and beyond.
LAGARDERE TRAVEL RETAIL PARTICIPATES IN THE ACI: AFRICA IN ARUSHA, TANZANIA!
At the ACI Africa conference held from 24 to 30 April 2025 in Arusha, Tanzania, Mr Sountou BOUSSO took part in a high-level round table discussion on the theme: "Improving the customer experience: air transport and hospitality services as pillars of service excellence".
Alongside decision-makers and industry experts from Tanzania, Germany, Senegal and the Middle East, he shared Lagardère Travel Retail's vision on the key role of airport retail and services in creating a seamless, innovative and memorable passenger experience.
The discussion highlighted the importance of cross-sector partnerships, personalised customer journeys and digital innovation in building the airport of tomorrow: more welcoming, more connected and more human.
This was a great recognition for our region and an inspiring exchange that underlines LTR WA's commitment to putting the customer at the heart of its strategy.
WA - INNOVATION WEEK
During Innovation Week, which took place from 8 to 14 May, employees were invited to share ideas and tips to help improve our practices at the point of sale.
The result was a wonderful collective dynamic and six ideas put forward by teams from different countries in the region.
The goal? To promote small everyday innovations that make our work more efficient, our shops more attractive, and the customer experience more memorable.
Well done to the teams for their creativity, commitment and initiative!
WA - A COLOURFUL DAY
On 21 May, to mark World Cultural Diversity Day, our shops and workspaces were transformed into scenes of multicultural celebration.
Traditional outfits worn with pride, typical dishes shared generously, smiles and meaningful discussions... everything came together to make this day an authentic and inspiring moment.
This initiative allowed everyone to express their cultural heritage, share the flavours and symbols of their region, and strengthen the bonds within our teams.
A friendly, festive and proud atmosphere reigned in our stores: proof that diversity is not only a value, but a living force at the heart of our daily lives.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day a collective success!
